Mountain GocGeographical Location

The mountainous massif of Goč extends between rivers Ibar and Zapadna Morava, 30 km southeast from Kraljevo and 202 km from Belgrade. Its height above sea level is between 300 and 1500 m. Its east side is covered with rich and beautiful forests, and in the west side, there are bare mountainous terrains and rocky grounds. Towards the north, this massif is connected with the mountain Stolovi, and towards the east it leans on Kopaonik massif.
Politically, it belongs to two municipalities – Kraljevo and Vrnjačka Banja. The mountainous massif of Goč is on the territory of Kraljevo Municipality along the basins of the rivers Gvozdac and Sokolja.

How to reach Goč

The way that leads from Kraljevo towards Vrnjačka Banja, at the very exit from the town, a little bit before racing track “Beranovac”, turns right and leads over weekend settlement Kamenica and Brezna toward the top of the mountain.
From city bus station, there are two departures daily toward Goč, at 7 am and 15 h, and returns from Goč are at 8 am and 16 h, every day.
Note: During winter road is regularly cleaned and it is always passable.

Climate

Moderate-continental.

Temperature
During winter till -15C, during summer some ten degrees less then in Kraljevo.

Snow Blanket
Averagely around 50 cm, but sometimes it can be even over 1 m.
